Formative Assessment

       Formative assessments allows the instructor to assess their students’ progress and their own effectiveness as a teacher. I believe that meaningful and ongoing formative assessment is one of the keys to effective teaching and gives the instructor a clearer understanding of their students’ learning. This source provides useful ongoing formative assessment techniques that can be integrated into the classroom.
